KYWC News: April 2024

Hello Friends,

As winter withdraws and the promise of warmth and spring beauty is before us, KYWC is readying for our 2024 season. We look forward to offering you a variety of classes, workshops, and events that support your well-being of mind, body, and spirit.

Your events

Did you know that you can rent the Center building and/or grounds to host your own public and private events? For example, you can hold a wedding ceremony on the labyrinth, a family gathering by the Spirit Nest, a club luncheon in the studio, a metaphysical fair on the grounds, or facilitate a public workshop or daytime retreat. This is the time to turn in your requests for Board approval and to reserve your dates. Learn more here.

Classes and Events

Following is the current listing of classes and events for April. Also note chair yoga beginning May 7th and the Labyrinth Celebration on June 15th.

Chair Yoga with Jean

Experience all the benefits of yoga with the assistance of a chair, including breathwork, postures, meditation, and restorative elements. Most postures are done from a seated position with a few standing or lying down on a mat using the chair for balance. Chair yoga is good for everyone and especially good for individuals with physical limitations that make yoga practice difficult without having a chair for support. This practice improves strength, flexibility, mindfulness, and an overall sense of well-being.

Tuesdays from 1 pm – 2:15 pm beginning May 7th through July 23rd.  Please contact Jean at jeanmarieta@hotmail.com to register.

Namaste.
