Year of the Snake ~ Autumn Equinox Celebration

Snakes? Oh my! No, there will be no live snakes at this event. The theme is snakes because this is the year of the snake in the 12-year Chinese zodiac system. This period, specifically the Year of the Wood Snake, symbolizes wisdom, intuition, and transformation, and is considered a time for personal growth and strategic planning.
During this event, you will:
*Create your personal Snake Medicine Wheel, power staff, or wand. (supplies are included)
*Drum, rattle, sing, and dance in the Snake Maze.
*Learn about Snake Medicine and earn a feather.
*Participate in a releasing-letting go and calling-in fire ceremony
*Give thanks for your blessings.
*Enjoy S’mores treats (yum!).
Come out, have fun, and make lasting memories with family and friends. The kiddos really enjoyed the maze at the two local festivals.
Facilitator: Steve Williams
Date: Saturday, Sept. 20th at 1:00 pm until 5 pm. Cost: $20 per adult. Coming with the family? Children are only $10 each.
You must register by September 18th. Call Steve (no text) at 315-583-5500.
