Our summer season is in full swing. We have already had some wonderful workshops, our community garden is “growing like a weed” and growing some weeds, and we have new picnic tables and sitting benches – perfect for enjoying a quiet lunch or meditation time.

Mandala Stone Painting
Step into your creative flow by creating a personalized mandala design on stone with simple dotting tools and paint. All materials provided.
Dress for a small mess You may get paint on your hands, wrist, and/or shirt.

Cost $25 – pay at class.

Drumming and Meditation Circle
Come make a joyful noise. Bring your own drum and rattles or borrow one of ours.
Friday, July 14th at 6 pm. Steve Williams, facilitator. $5 donation. Members free.

Enjoy a relaxing 20–30-minute energy balance session with one of our certified practitioners.
Sunday, July 16th from 2 pm until 5 pm. Please arrive by 4 pm. By donation.
You are also invited to attend the Center for Spiritual Awareness Healing and Message Service at 11 am and a Potluck Lunch following the service.
The Northern Rivers group invites you to celebrate Lughnasadh (pronounced Loo-nah-sah) with them on Saturday, August 5th at 2 pm. Come enjoy fun and games, followed by a pot-luck meal. Lughnasadh is an official Irish holiday and Gaelic festival marking the beginning of the harvest season. Donation appreciated.
Therapeutic Sound Baths
Come enjoy an hour-long therapeutic sound bath facilitated by Roxanne Turturro. The session begins with a healing intention meditation followed by a sound bath created with crystal bowls and other sound healing instruments.
Dates and times: July 15th and July 29th at 2 pm. Cost: $20 per session. Please register and prepay at the Center to ensure your spot for either or both dates.

The Sacred Wisdom of Ayurveda: A Women’s Retreat
Explore practical tools rooted in ancient wisdom to help you make choices more congruent with the aspirations of your soul. No prior experience is needed. Qualifies for 4 Yoga Alliance CEUs.

Children’s Yoga with Chrissy
This 60-minute energizing practice introduces children (ages 5-10) to yoga by encouraging flexibility and strength as well as calming breathing techniques. Practicing yoga poses inspires children to clear their mind and focus on their effort, building self-confidence and coordination while teaching respect for self and others. Students will improve their strength, balance, attention and coordination through fun yoga games, challenging yoga sequences as well as partner and group poses. They will learn healthy stress and anxiety coping mechanisms and work on building self-esteem in a non-competitive environment.
$10 pre-registration, $15 pop-in. Minimum of 3 students required. Mats are provided. Register here.
